£30m Payet bid latest - it's time to let him go
PSG in papers today, Express.

We should bite their hands off for taking away this NHS obesity case. An amazing first season - but now......

He has betrayed the fans with his sulking, laziness and love of a good fry up. It's time to go.

We need fighters as to pull us back from the abyss of relegation.

And to think some of you thought he was better than Di Canio, a legend who would have given blood for the club. Payet isn't fit to lick his boots. Bye, bye you mercenary turncoat.

Does Payet turn up for games north of Watford?

He's not trying at all and won't get better. But keep him - he clearly wants out.

Had a few quiet games (made goal today, weds, Sunday)

Sell him? Best talent we've seen in years. FMOB x12345343

Let him go?

I don't think we will have much say come January.

Re: £30m Payet bid latest - it's time to let him go
I slaughtered him after Wednesday and I stand by it - his behaviour for their second goal isn't on - but I didn't think there was any of that yesterday.

Will say, to try and add something vaguely constructive to this nonsense, that he could learn a lot from Sanchez (as could most players in the world). If you look back to Arsenal away last year - his debut- that's exactly what he was all about. Strong on and off the ball, worked his bollocks off and put in a 90 minute performance. For a long time he's been delivering moments rather than 90 minute performances. I don't buy all the 'he's only there to create' crap, because we've seen he's got more in the locker.

Still...delivering in moments is more than most this season

I'd keep him just stick him in the reserves with the other wasters. I would rather we played a load of kids then some of these not fit to wear the shirt types.

I expect to hear Slav is gone by the end of today. Let's hope he speaks out when he does go so we can hear what the board are really like.

I'm pretty sure Payet has given blood for the club. Blood tests are part of the medical.

Only time we look half decent is when Payet & lanzini link up - the rest ain't got a clue.
Noble
Ogbonna
Arbeloa
Fernandes
Masuaka

All had shockers yesterday.

Re: £30m Payet bid latest - it's time to let him go
With him we've been shit... imagine without him!!
Depends on how much he wants to leave, if his efforts deteriorate anymore it will affect the team. I'd guess he's one not giving his all in training.
And clearly if we get relegated he'll go and at a big loss, teams will know we couldn't carry his wages in the Champs. Sell or keep it's a gamble, but you have to keep your best player and hope we survive.
Important to get rid of the deadwood asap too. I'm sure the likes of Zaza, Torre, Calleri aren't behaving positively knowing they're not wanted (because they've been shit obviously).

Re: £30m Payet bid latest - it's time to let him go
Somehow we've contrived to play a system where our best player by a mile spends most of his time covering the left back and not playing up the pitch where he is most effective. Without the quality him and Lanzini show we would be fucking woeful

Re: £30m Payet bid latest - it's time to let him go
I dont want to sell him, but if he wants to go then we should let him. He gave us a brilliant last season and if he feels his future is elsewhere then so be it.

Re: £30m Payet bid latest - it's time to let him go
Why is that Darby? Because I don't want a player who doesn't want to play for us.

If Payet comes out kissing the badge and butchers teams over the next month, then I'm back in.

But look at the cunt - it's not going to happen. Time to take the money and move on.
